Club Atlético Osasuna has been nominated for the awards organized by The Stadium Business in the Technology category, thanks to the implementation of dasGate facial recognition terminals at the access gates to El Sadar.
The StadiumBusiness Awards recognize leadership, innovation, and achievement in sports facilities’ provision, operation, and management worldwide.
A total of six projects have made the cut. Osasuna will have to compete for the award with five other high-value technology projects being carried out worldwide, including Inter Milan, Brooklyn Nets, and Burnley.
dasGate revolutionizes accesses to El Sadar
dasGate’s identity and access management platform has been implemented at El Sadar, Osasuna’s stadium, since last April so club members can enter the stadium through facial recognition.
Since its implementation, nearly a thousand members have been able to enjoy the convenience of accessing the stadium using their faces. dasGate can provide access to more than 20 people per minute, a speed of access that generates an exceptional user experience without waiting and avoiding queues.
This project by C.A Osasuna and dasGate has attracted the attention of the StadiumBusiness awards jury and, in their opinion, is worthy of entering among the six best technological initiatives of the year in the field of sports venues. The winner will be announced on July 5 at a gala event in Manchester.
