Last September 30th dasGate was present at the #OTDTech2021, a reference event in Navarra about Digital Transformation, organised by the Fundación Industrial Navarra and the Colegio Oficial de Ingenieros in Navarra Arena.
During the conference, the opportunities, needs and challenges that must be taken into account for the development of Artificial Intelligence in the industry field were presented through case studies presented by leading technology companies.
Digital identity for logistics centres
Carlos Odériz, Business Unit Director, and Carlos Arana, Technology Manager at dasGate, presented how it is possible to improve access management and control thanks to the biometric technology developed by the company. To this end, they presented their digital identity project for logistics centres.
This system allows users to register remotely and verify their identity by capturing a selfie-and identity document and then accessing the facilities without getting out of their vehicle and in less than a second. The solution avoids queuing, check-in at reception, and credentials exchange and saves time and resources.
This presentation aimed to show how the application of artificial intelligence technology in dasGate solutions can improve existing access processes by offering maximum speed, convenience, and security.
Thanks again to the Fundación Industrial Navarra and the Colegio Oficial de Ingenieros for allowing us to be part of this event!
