More and more Autonomous Communities are passing gaming regulations to improve the control of access to gambling halls, casinos, and bingos and to restrict entry to minors and persons on prohibited lists.
That is why operators must invest in the gaming room’s security and control systems that help comply with this regulation.
This has led us to organize a face-to-face event in Zaragoza on November 23rd, together with our technological partner PEJ (Productos Electrónicos del Juego), aimed at managers and technicians of gaming halls, casinos, and bingos.
More than 300,000 incident-free accesses in gaming halls in the Basque Country, with dasGate technology
The attendees were able to learn first-hand about dasGate’s technological solutions for identity and access management, which have been in operation in more than 60% of the gaming halls in the Basque Country since November 16, allowing more than 300,000 accesses without incidents, preventing prohibited, self-prohibited and minors from accessing the halls.

During the event, questions about how to comply with the regulations, ensure that identity documents, passports, or driver’s licenses are truthful, and how to link it with the person’s identity have been addressed.

Alfonso Urizburu, dasGate Business Area Director, Fermin Sagaseta, dasGate Sales Manager, and Jose Manuel Rojo, PEJ Sales Manager, have made a live demonstration of the system operation with all attendees, showing how in less than 1 minute it is possible to verify both the identity of the players and their identity documents and provide access in less than 1 second through facial recognition.
